Etapa 33: Ventas de Narón to Melide

It is really hot. Like, I might melt into a pool of human goop overnight sort of hot. It was hot at 6:00am when we started walking. When we descended down into the fog, it became thick, muggy, humid hot, but still hot. In the afternoon sun it is extremely unpleasantly hot. Right now in the albergue, where there’s not even a hint of air movement? Mum is dying in the top bunk, and I’m just about doing the same. Hot.

I apologise, but that’s all I have the energy for today – it’s too hot!

Sadly the temps are expected to rise further during the next couple of days, so hopefully you can find a pool, or some water to soak in along the way. Luckily you only have a few days left, and there’s some shade and/or a breeze along the way.
