So in between everything I’ve told you about so far, I’ve been hanging out in Buenos Aires. Juan has been here, which has been lovely, but he had to go back to Paraguay early yesterday, so the exploration continues solo.
I like this city. It feels alive. It has personality. It feels different from the last time I was here, and I’m not quite sure why. I liked it fine the last time I visited, but this time it feels more… real. Maybe it’s just that it was winter last time ![]()
The night before Juan left, we did the Argentine steak experience thing. He convinced me to be brave and we ordered intestines as a starter! They actually weren’t too bad – the outside was fine, as it was crispy, but the inside had a texture like paste that wasn’t my favourite. It was a good thing to try, but I’m not sure that I’d choose it again!
Anyways, I’ll think of some better stories for next time, and leave you with pictures for now. They include a rap battle at the cultural centre, explorations of the city, and the intestines!

(The comic reads: “I love you, Eugenia.” “I love me too.”)
