Rosario

¡Qué calor! It is hot!! I’m am sweaty every minute of the day!

My most recent adventure has been a quick visit to Rosario to see the lovely Fern who came to NZ on AFS 11 years ago. He has helped me a lot with organising things here like my domestic flights, and it was so lovely to see him again.

Rosario seems like a nice town. Lots of stationery shops, which is always a plus for me haha. It was a pretty easy town to walk around, and I explored as much as the heat allowed me. It’s on a the bank of a river, which also provided a nice walk in the evening. It seems around 7pm is exercise time for the residents of Rosario. How you can run when it’s 32 degrees, I’ll never know. There were also lots of groups set up all along the side of the river with a whole gym setup with them! Just walking in that heat was almost impossible, I don’t know how they were doing.

The next day, Fern and I did brunch. It’s always nice to catch up with another AFSer to reminisce, discuss travels, reflect on the places life has taken us! He is back in NZ in March, so I’m looking forward to seeing him in Wanaka!

Next stop, Buenos Aires, where apparently the streets are so full of people celebrating the return of the football team that we might need to go to an alternative bus station!!
