School is over, and in approximately 3 hours I’ll be leaving for the last time. How weird. I think I’m all packed, apart from my computer, of course, and a couple of bits and bobs here and there. I’ll be flying to Chengdu tonight with Alicia and Ariel to begin a couple of weeks of travel, beginning with a visit to the pandas tomorrow. Our Tibet permits have been issued, and are hopefully still waiting for us when we arrive at our hostel tonight, and then we’re off! And then, in 15 days time, New Zealand :D

The past week has been full of students asking me why I need to leave, and taking approximately three billion photos. My face was sore from smiling. The students are making me feel pretty guilty for leaving actually, they all want reasons, and are asking me to come back. I’ve given them my QQ number (like Chinese Messenger) and one of my 4th graders told me last night “We will be missing you when you are living in New Zealand. There are many my classmates, they like you very much. We think you’re the best teacher in our school.” I was like.. Awww! He also told me not to forget them, as if I could haha.

Anyways, I don’t think I really have anything too exciting to say, so I’ll make up for it with photos.
